Today, Sunday the 18th of May, the Victoria Day forecast for much of Northern Ontario is looking up — with clearing skies, sunny conditions, and more seasonal temperatures expected by Monday.

Tuesday brings a return to some cloud and a chance of scattered showers, but not before the holiday delivers some well-earned warmth and light.

Sudbury: A Sunny Holiday After a Cool Start

Sudbury will see a mix of sun and cloud on Sunday with a 30 percent chance of showers and a cool high of 11°C. Expect clearing skies Sunday night with a frosty low of -1°C. Victoria Day Monday brings the sunshine, with a high of 13°C and a clear night at 3°C. Tuesday follows with more sun and a high of 16°C.

Sault Ste. Marie: Gradual Warming and a Classic Victoria Day Forecast

Sunday in the Soo is cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and a high of 10°C. Clearing overnight with a low of 0°C. Monday will be a beauty with sunshine and 13°C. Tuesday brings more sunshine and a high of 15°C before cloudy periods and a 7°C low Tuesday night.

Geraldton: Cold Nights, But Sunshine Returns

Geraldton clears out Sunday with a high of 9°C and a crisp low of -3°C that night. Victoria Day Monday is sunny and pleasant at 13°C, while Tuesday will bring a mix of sun and cloud and a warmer 16°C. Expect cloudy periods Tuesday night with a low of 3°C.

Sioux Lookout: From Chill to Spring Warmth

Sunday clears up with a high of 11°C and a low of -1°C overnight. Monday brings full sunshine and a high of 15°C. Tuesday will be a bit more unsettled with a mix of sun and cloud, a 30 percent chance of showers, and a high of 16°C.

Dryden: Cloudy to Sunny to Showery

Clouds dominate Sunday with a high of 11°C. Sunday night clears with a low of 0°C. Sunny skies will greet Victoria Day with a warm 16°C. Tuesday, expect increasing cloud and a 30 percent chance of showers with a high of 15°C.

Fort Frances: Gradual Climb to Mild Weather

Fort Frances sees clearing skies Sunday with a high of 11°C and a clear low of 0°C. Monday is sunny and 15°C before clouds roll in Tuesday with a 30 percent chance of showers and a cooler high of 14°C.

Kenora: Sunshine Returns Before Another Cloudy Turn

Kenora will clear Sunday with a high of 11°C and a low of 1°C. Victoria Day promises sunshine and 16°C. Tuesday brings cloud and a 30 percent chance of showers with a high of 14°C and a low of 7°C.
